She actually knocked on doors and asked, "Do you want to sell your house?" Miraculously, there was a lady who was listed with a different company the very next day. Donna called that agent that very moment, and bingo! We found the house of our dreams! Lovely neighborhood and the best schools! While waiting for our closing, we were renting an apartment in Philadelphia. She even invited us to a family gathering because she knew we were so far away from family at the time. We had a wonderful time and immediately felt connected with the community through her. Sadly, my husband's job caused another transfer 3 years later. Who do you think we called first? Yes, Donna, to list our house! I knew I had better be ready to sell, because she was going to make it happen. My husband moved before me, and the kids and I had an 85-year-old grandmother to watch over, along with 2 dogs and 2 children. No easy thing, I can assure you. I was hesitant to "show" the house as often as we were getting calls due to all of the stressors in our life at the time, but Donna made that so easy. She frequently came over early to help with the said dogs and children, and to get the house in order. It was now Father's Day, and I was exhausted. Donna had an Open House set up. On Father's Day? I thought, That's crazy, but trusted her years in the business and she had never steered us wrong before, so we packed up and headed to a movie. When we returned, we had an offer on our home and closed 5 weeks later! Whew, and in this economy (this was only last year!) When we moved to Texas, I actually called Donna in PA. on a number of occasions for friendly advice. As my husband says, "There will never be another Donna!" Sure enough, we found a home here, but our new agent was "No Donna!" Not only do we recommend her to friends in Pa, but my husband recommended her to the relocation department where he worked.
